Yep, that's how it feels to get your website (and first blog post) published! This website started as a COVID "lockdown" project back in May 2020. Something to work on while I was home and had ample time! As summer weather rolled into Seattle, I abandoned the project for almost 4 months in favor of spending all my free time outdoors. Then came the west coast wildfires in early September. Being indoors for two solid weeks due to dense smoke and very unhealthy air quality gave me the (forced) time that I needed to get solid progress on the website. As you may know...in 2019 I moved from Alabama to Washington in search of new opportunities. What I found - in Seattle, the Pacific Northwest, and across the west coast - was beyond my wildest dreams. Today, I live the Seattle city life. I travel the west coast. I spend my time outdoors - hiking, biking, and kayaking through awe inspiring nature. And, yes, somewhere in there I manage to hold down a full-time career.
I created this website to share my life and adventures with those near and far. I hope to give you get a glimpse into my world - and maybe a different perspective, helpful information, or just something beautiful that you have never seen before. No matter your interest or experience, there is something for everyone here:
